“Your Non-Fiction Book Idea Becomes the Best Ever!!”

Writing non-fiction isn’t difficult. What’s difficult is that you’ve got to make your non-fiction as powerful as possible. You’ve got to have it include everything that other books on the same topic include, but you’ve got to give the reader more, as well. You’ve got to differentiate your book by making it as good as everything out there but even better that the best that’s offered.

   Here’s how it’s done.

If you’ve toured the internet for more than just a short while, you’ll know that many are simply long-form sales letters. I shouldn’t say simply, but that’s what they are. They offer for sale one book, or one service and they go on for literally thousands of words telling you all the benefits you’ll get if you have this product or service.

They’re like the literary version of those late-night infomercials. In fact, those late-night infomercials grew out of the long-form sales letter.

Now here’s something you may not have known. Those web pages, if they’re at all good, work really well.

Your job is to read a few of them and then write one for your book. But here’s the key. Write the sales letter before you write your non-fiction book!

That’s right, before you’ve written any part of your non-fiction book, write the sales letter for it.

I want you to write your book’s sales letter long before you’re constrained by the actual book you’ve written. I don’t want you to be fettered to any actual book. So you can take your magic wand and make your book anything you want.

To get started, write down a list of 30 or 40 things that will be in your magical book that the reader would really, really like to have or put into practice.

I’ll give you an example. You’re going to write a book about, um, writing books!. (It could be about making cabinets, improving your credit score, it doesn’t really matter).

Here are some of the points that come quickly to mind. Remember, you’re not limited by anything when you write these points. Just use your imagination.

  • Get an agent in just 36 hours
  • Create a book proposal no publisher can resist
  • Develop “technologies” no one else on the planet has that make your book better than anything on the market
  • Unleash the power of your own creativity so you write better than you ever thought possible
  • The fastest method of researching on the planet—it has nothing to do with the Internet. One journalist in southern Ontario stated this single strategy was so effective, it was scary!
  • S.N.A.P. editing—this single strategy caused a former president of a national editor’s association to declare that we had to get this information out to anyone and everyone who was even thinking of writing a book!
  • The simple technique that will create any mood imaginable in just seconds. Professional writers struggle for years to learn how to do this. You’ll be able to do this in just seconds.
  • How to ensure that your book is a best-seller
  • How to make sure the reader is involved in every page
  • Step by step instructions for copyright registration. Even the forms are included!
  •    I could go on, but I think you get the idea. Your non-fiction book’s sales letter must be a dreamer’s list of benefits for the reader.

Now the intriguing part. If you’ve written a lengthy list of benefits for your book, say, 20 or more, you’ve got the beginnings of a great outline for your book.

What’s that you say? Some of the things you’ve written can’t be done? Well they can, and your job is to find ways to make them happen for the reader in your non-fiction book.

If your non-fiction book can come through with this wish list, you’ll have a never-ending stream of people who want to buy and know about your non-fiction book.

Not only will you have covered the same ground as every other non-fiction book on the topic, but you will have written a ‘must have’ book that will ensure your success.
