There are all kinds of reasons to write a book. If you are an employee and you want to get ahead in your company I can't think of any better way to show your expertise, to show your capability, and to show your desire to succeed, than to write a book explaining to everyone who reads it why you're the very best at what you do and that you are an integral component of the company.

Here's how you get started writing your book in your industry and in your company. There are many people who have problems, difficulties, challenges either with products or services or simply getting the results they're looking for. Write a series of articles that will help those people achieve the results they need. Each article will address one particular want or need. It could be getting the appropriate staff on site or selling to a difficult customer or calling asking for payment for overdue accounts. There are dozens of articles you can write for virtually any company. Your objective is to write articles about or at least 500 words in length.

Make a list of articles you want to have in your book. Remember that this of book is supposed to make you look like the expert in your field. It's there to give your reader the information he needs. And your book are also proves to your superiors that you have the information, the knowledge, and the skills to be promoted within the company. Make a list of article titles you think would be appropriate for your book.

The articles you'll be writing first are the articles you feel you can answer or provide information for personally. This part of the book proves that you are the expert You've had this problem yourself and you've overcome this problem. You got the results readers want. And you know how to make it happen again and again and again.

There will be subjects about which you know very little. Topics you know nothing about. That's when you'll must go to other experts within your company. Other experts within the industry, perhaps. That's where you'll find information for these articles. That's where you'll get the most important details needed to give your readers the results they want.

Write at least one article per day. Or two if at all possible. Sometimes if you're using the right technology and you have a lot of information you can provide yourself, you can write three or even five articles in a single day. And that's while you're working a full-time job. That means it should take no more than perhaps three perhaps four months to create your book.
